Artist Statement
Susan Buswell, Fiber Artist
Like many who are drawn to fiber arts, color and pattern are the focus of my work. My art reflects a love of nature, landscapes, and special moments. The use of bold colors is my trademark, as well as a love of texture, pattern and unique color combinations.
My goal is to provide a source for uniquely designed hand hooked rugs. By promoting the art of rug hooking, I strive to show how crafts used in our ancestors time are still vibrant, creative outlets of expression and art for the home.
